“Ashifashabba” is a brand name that grew from the likeness of Shonisani Aubrey Muleya to “Shabba Ranks” during the “hey days” of Shabba Ranks, Shonisani walked on the run-way at a “Fresher’s Ball” hosted by the Technikon Pretoria spotting the world famous Shabba Ranks side-cropped hairstyle and the name “Shabba” stuck when the crowd cheered him on.
